Acquisition policy

The Presidential Library’s acquisition policy is a document regulating the main directions and features of the collection of the Library's collection and determining the subject matter, types and copy of the documents included in the library fund.

The Presidential Library’s acquisition policy is based on the statutory functions and objectives of the Library and is part of the concept of its development. The recruitment profile is approved by the Director of the Library in consultation with the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, published for general information and requires revision every two years to reflect changes in legislation and adjustments in order to fulfill the statutory tasks of the Library, taking into account the dynamics of replenishment of the fund.

 The Presidential Library acquisition profile
