Exhibitions: The photo exhibition dedicated to the Russian Arctic was opened on board of the icebreaker "50 Years of Victory"

On the board of the most powerful nuclear icebreaker in the world "50 Years of Victory" a photo exhibition dedicated to the Russian Arctic is presented. The cruise icebreaker follows the route Murmansk - the North Pole with a visit to the territory of the national park "The Russian Arctic", which conducts the exhibition.

18 pictures made by the employee of the national park Nikolay Gernet on the Franz Josef Land archipelago will tell about the largest territory of Russia. Photos will be placed in the icebreaker halls, the library - places where tourists spend time.

According to Gernet, his photographs and design of the exhibition were approved by the captain of "50 Years of Victory" Dmitry Lobusov. Photographs will become a permanent decoration of the ship. In total this season the icebreaker will make five cruises, which will end on August 12.

The exhibition is taking place within the framework of the Year of Ecology.
