The Presidential Library illustrates the History of Crimea at RUSSIA EXPO

On March 17, 2024, on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia, the chief bibliographer of the bibliography and cataloging department of the Presidential Library, Anna Vorobyova, spoke to visitors to RUSSI EXPO at VDNKh in Moscow. As part of the educational program of the Russian Society “Znanie”, she spoke about materials from the Presidential Library's collection dedicated to the history of the Crimean Peninsula.

During the elections of the President of the Russian Federation, which take place from March 15 to 17, 2024, the Presidential Library provides the online project “The President of the Russian Federation – Guarantor of Human Rights and Freedoms”. The project, prepared jointly with the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, is dedicated to the institution of presidential power in our country and the activities of the head of state as a guarantor of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen.

The Presidential Library hosted the third stage of the Olympiad Russia in the Electronic World

The final of the Presidential Library Olympiad for schoolchildren and students “Russia in the Electronic World” took place on March 12-14. More than 500 people competed to qualify for the second round. In total, this year more than 2.5 thousand children from 66 regions of the Russian Federation and a number of foreign countries joined the intellectual contest, including the first and second stages.

The Presidential Library and St. Petersburg State Economic University continue a joint educational project. As part of this project, on April 3, 2024 at 11 a.m., the Presidential Library will host a multimedia lesson entitled “Kotlin Island: from the glacial moraine to new heights of hospitality in St. Petersburg” which will continue the cycle “The Origins of St. Petersburg Hospitality: Events, People, Places”. Senior pupils from St. Petersburg schools will join it.
