Presidential Library celebrates 200th anniversary of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
On March 18, 2011 within the framework of celebrations timed to 200th anniversary of Internal Troops, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library hosted a scientific and practical conference which turned the spotlight on the history and modern stage of development of Russia’s Internal Troops.

On February 1 2011 the Presidential library launched an exposition that is timed to 80th birthday anniversary of the first popularly elected President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin. Materials that shed the light on preparation of the current “Yeltsin's” Constitution of 1993 form the core of the exposition.

January 25, 2011 the Presidential Library celebrated the 67th anniversary of the lifting of the siege of Leningrad, during which the library received a gift from the survivors of siege – a 14-volume edition of the Book of Memory "They survived the blockade."
