Internet and Museums: Virtual exhibition project “Dedicated to War Artists…” underway on the website of the Museum of Art of Novgorod Land

On December 17, 2018 the virtual exhibition project “Dedicated to War Artists…” resumed on the website of the State Museum of Art of Novgorod Land. The project is designed to promote patriotic education among the population. As part of the project, visitors to the museum’s website will have a chance to study works by Novgorod artists, who participated in the Great Patriotic War.

The next part of the project is the virtual exhibition of artworks by Alexander I. Popov (1913-2001), the artist from Borovichi, Novgorod Region, from the museum’s collections. His paintings portray the town of Borovichi from the 1930s through the late 20th century. The exhibition will be available on the museum’s website at www.artmus.natm.ru until December 31, 2018.
