Society and Culture: Exhibition “His Life was Acting and Stage” presented in Belgorod in memory of the great Russian actor M. S. Shchepkin

The Belgorod State Local History Museum is holding the exhibition “His Life was Acting and Stage”.

The exhibition sheds light on the life and acting career of M. S. Shchepkin – the great Russian actor, founder of realism in Russian theatre art, who was born in Krasnoe village, Kursk Governorate – present-day Alexeevka village, Yakovlevsky District, Belgorod Region.

The exhibition showcases personal items, which belonged to Mikhail Semyonovich and his descendants, documents and photographs of his family from the collections of the Belgorod State Local History Museum.

The exhibition will be open until March 10, 2019.
