International events: Russian-American History Month opened in New York

The Russian-American History Month has opened in New York. The Pushkin Festival, exhibition projects, children’s holidays, Olympiads, the Total Dictation and the Gentry Ball will take place as part of the project. It opened with Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull in English translation staged by Alexei Burago, director of the Russian Arts Theatre and Studio (New York). The play will be staged in the theatre in Manhattan until April 19.
