The virtual exhibition “Theatre Life in Oryol Province” is presented on the official website of the State Archive of Oryol Region.

The exhibition is divided into two sections: the first section is devoted to the history of the Oryol Theatre, the second one – to district theatres. Documents on display spotlight general development trends of provincial theatre art during the last quarter of the 19th c. – early 20th c., and features that are associated with local cultural traditions and prominent theatre professionals.
