Panorama "Siege of Sevastopol of 1854-1855" marks the anniversary. 115 years ago, a museum with a unique picture created by the master of battle painting Franz Roubaud was opened for visitors. Since then, one of the main places of interest in Sevastopol has survived the sorrows of the Great Patriotic War, and the joys of the following revival. Since the second opening in 1954, 39 million people from all over the world have visited the panorama.

On the panorama's canvas, the artist Franz Roubaud depicted the events of the assault on the Malakhov Battery on 6 (18) June 1855.
