Information Technologies and History: Mobile guide to Olympic Moscow to mark the 40th anniversary of Games of the XXII Olympiad in the USSR

Radio Sputnik along with Maps.me prepared a guide to Olympic Moscow marking the 40th anniversary of Games of the XXII Olympiad in the USSR.

The guide submits a walk around 11 buildings of the 1980 Summer Olympics, which are still in service today. It features the stories about principles of choosing the sites, demolished structures, innovations used in the construction and interior works of objects.

The guide routes also include one of the symbolic places of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow - the Press Centre (Zubovsky Boulevard, 4). Today it houses the headquarters of the Russia Today Media Group, which branch is Radio Sputnik.

The guide is free to download to smartphone and always available. It provides two language versions (Russian and English) for users' comfort.
