Memory of Russia: Monument to Admiral Fyodor Ushakov to appear in Saint-Petersburg

The Maritime Council of Saint-Petersburg Government supported the initiative of the Association of Public Organizations of Navy Veterans to erect a monument to Admiral Fyodor Ushakov at Labor Square.

The design for a monument was approved by the City Planning Council of the Saint-Petersburg Government and the relevant commission of the Saint-Petersburg Public Chamber.

The foundation stone is planned to be installed this year. This event will mark the 275th anniversary of the outstanding naval commander.
