Information technology and culture: A virtual exhibition of masterpieces from the collection of the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts opened on Sakhalin

October 26, 2020 the Sakhalin Regional Art Museum (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) features a virtual exhibition “100 Masterpieces. From the collection of the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts”, organized as part of the “Culture” national project.

The uniqueness of the exhibition is in the fact that for the first time in a virtual project objects from permanent exhibitions that were not shown outside the walls of the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts are presented. 100 exhibits have been selected for the exhibition, more than 30 of them are presented in 3D, which will help to better learn about their artistic features.

The Sakhalin Regional Art Museum will provide opportunity to visit the exposition until January 15, 2021. Further the exhibition will be presented until December 31, 2021 in all museums of Sakhalin Region.
