History and Culture: Exhibition "I Need Russia", devoted to Fyodor Dostoevsky's travels abroad, opened in Omsk

The exhibition "I Need Russia" ("Dostoevsky and Europe") was opened in the Second Hall of the Fyodor Dostoevsky Omsk Literary Museum as part of the exhibition project "Inspired by Dostoevsky".

The exposition spotlights the writer's travels abroad. He travelled abroad eight times, visited Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, England, France and other countries, having spent in Europe for about five and a half years.

The core exhibits are old postcards with images of the cities visited by Dostoevsky, portraits of encounters, books created at this time, writer's publications in foreign languages.
