Libraries and Society: The International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings - 2021" held at the Russian State Library

The Russian State Library is hosting the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings - 2021" from April 21 to 23, 2021. The event will take place offline and online.

The conference traditionally examines a wide range of issues on the theory and practice of bibliology, library science, bibliography, current areas of library activity.

Specialists from libraries, archives, museums, universities, research institutes, publishing houses, representatives of government agencies and public organizations are invited to participate.

Within the framework of the section "Libraries and Museums in the Context of History", special attention will be paid to topics related to two anniversaries: 190 years since the opening of the Rumyantsev Museum in St. Petersburg and 200 years since the birth of the first director of the Moscow Public Museum Nikolai Vasilyevich Isakov.
