St. Petersburg to host the first national art festival of the indigenous peoples of the North

On September 15, 2021, the Tauride Garden of St. Petersburg will host the Arctic Inspiration - the first art festival of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation.

The festival program features northern folklore performances by art groups from Chukotka, Kamchatka, Yakutia, Taimyr, Yamal, Nenets Autonomous Territory, Murmansk Region and St. Petersburg. Besides, it includes art master classes, national games and contests.

The Arctic Inspiration festival is held by the Association of Indigenous Peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation. It is arranged by the St. Petersburg Committee for Arctic Affairs as part of the institutional project St. Petersburg - Centre for Ethnocultural Development of the Peoples of the North.
