Museums of Russia: Museum Quartet project launched in Moscow

The Museum Quartet project (M4) that unites the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and the GES-2 House of Culture was launched in Moscow.

The Museum Quartet aims at the development of public spaces by creating a set of diverse collective and individual tours. They will include famous and unusual urban locations, museum collections and temporary exhibitions, performances, musical and educational events. The combination of various institutions allows city residents and travellers to rethink the cultural geography of the capital and plan a visit taking into account their preferences and interests, time limits and mobility (under development).

The first joint project of the Quartet was the creation of four excursion routes, including the M4 institutions.
