65th Great Victory Anniversary Day: Monuments in Kurgan to be reconstructed

Kurgan is holding preparatory work in commemoration of the 65^th Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which includes the reconstruction of functioning monuments. By May 2010 it is planned to renovate the memorials and set up other constructions - flags, posters and banners, relevant to the holiday of the Victory Day.

Moreover it is planned to reconstruct the Alley of Heroes and the Victory Park. Works in the Alley of Heroes near the Eternal flame will be held in order to install the support of park illumination, central memorial ensemble illumination, and lay the paving tile and law surface.
