"The project is aimed at bridging the gaps in legal knowledge of the youth. Many of young people even don’t have the slightest idea of the key points of different laws, supposing that this should only concern their writers", - highlighted Mr Shipshev.

The project’s program will include a course of lectures, seminars, organized by the Youth Parliament members at schools and universities of the Republic. The project is announced to attract leading lawyers of the Republic.

On February, 1 2010 the Youth Parliament was set up under the control of the supreme legislative body of the Kabardino-Balkar Republic. It represents 33 members under 30 and has a status of the advisory body under the “adult” parliament. The current membership of the parliament is already the second one.
