Digital libraries: Presentation of “Distributed intermuseum e-library” webcasted

April 8, 2011 at 2 p.m. website of the Russian Association of Electronic Libraries launched a webcast of the presentation of “Distributed intermuseum electronic library” project.

Based on T-Libra, the distributed library brings together collections of digitized materials from different organizations, first and foremost, from libraries and museums. It currently includes resources of Moscow Kremlin Museums, the State Historical Museum, Library of History of Russian Philosophy and Culture “A.F. Losev’s House”, Constanta Ltd. and Arkhangelsk Regional Center of Skill Improvement of Cultural Workers.

The library enables to conduct a full-text search across documents array which displays search results “by books” and “by paragraphs”, create a selection and download those materials available in the open access.

The electronic library is operating in test mode at http://demo.tlibra.ru/bin/tlibra/TauC.exe?DSN=tlibra.
