IT and Education: “New Educational Technologies in Universities” conference in Yekaterinburg

February 8th-10th 2012 the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia Boris Yeltsin, Yekaterinburg is running the 9th International Conference “New Educational Technologies in Universities”.

The conference will address the following themes:

1. Educational technologies.

2. Planning and resources for educational programs.

3. Innovation pedagogy.

Each of mentioned themes will be discussed for the whole day following the plan:

- plenary session which will bring together speakers and also feature reports which were submitted and then selected by the committee;

- stand reports, master classes or demonstration of methods, software etc.;

- final roundtable discussion focused on the relevant theme and adoption of recommendations.

There is also an opportunity to present reports virtually as a part of the video conference. The conference also runs a show of new equipment and resources for conducting educational activities.
