Libraries of Russia: Bibliographical rarities displayed at the State Theater Library

The manuscript of the Moliere's "School for Husbands", dated 1754, is one of the rarities featured at "Jean-Baptiste Moliere - France's greatest playwright" Exhibition which opened on April 3, 2012 at the State Theatre Library (St. Petersburg). The institution dates back to 1756 and is the oldest theater libraries in the country.

The exhibition displays the lifetime editions of the playwright’s plays, the best illustrations of the printed editions, the sketches for theater performances and other unique materials.
