Internet and society: The official web site of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation creates the column, dedicated to its history

To the 210th anniversary of the military department at the web site of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the section «Encyclopedia» is created the column «History of the Department», where are published materials prepared by specialists of the Research Institute (military history) of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Web site visitors can learn biographies of 43 Ministers of Defense. Over the fates of these leaders it is possible to trace not only the history of Russian Armed Forces but also the entire State.

The website also publishes the article «Military department: yesterday and today». A large-scale scientific work is the result of deep historical research conducted by military scientists.
