International event: APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting

The APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will be held in Vladivostok on September 8-9 as part of Russia's tenure as APEC chair.

APEC economic leaders will discuss trade and investment liberalization, regional economic integration, strengthening food security and establishing reliable supply chains, as well as cooperation to foster innovative growth. In addition, they will meet with members of the Business Advisory Council and consider their recommendations regarding future work in specified priority areas.

The APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will result in the adoption of the final declaration that will include the outcome of APEC work in 2012 and outline prospects for the development of the region in the future.
