Russian culture abroad: Orthodox Book Exhibition in Vienna

January 11, 2013 the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Vienna hosted the opening of the exhibition, prepared by the representative office of the Rossotrudnichestvo in Austria in conjunction with the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Vienna. The exhibition features art, reference, encyclopedia, gift and children’s literature of the Russian Orthodox Church’s publishing house.

When completing the exhibition work, the prepared literature will be donated to the library of the Cathedral of St. Nicholas and the library of the RCSC.

The opening ceremony attracted a great number of Russian compatriots and representatives of the Austrian community, who are interested in Russian literature and history of Russia and Russian Orthodoxy.
