Information technology: International exhibition CES-2013 in Las Vegas presents novelties of mobile electronics

International exhibition of Consumer Electronics Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2013) –the largest in the United States and one of the largest in the world - is taking place in the U.S. Las Vegas on 8 to 11 January 2013.

Consumer Electronics Show is traditionally used by the leading companies of the hi-tech industry for the announcement of the most interesting novelties of the computer and consumer electronics, and mobile electronics. The attention to the exhibition industry is largely due to the fact that it opens the calendar year and is held at the largest and most developed regional market - the USA.

Unlike other major technology forums, the CES is closed to the public, but its novelties are widely reported by the news media. Exhibitors include more than 3.1 thousand companies from more than 150 countries worldwide. They will present novelties in 15 categories, including audio technology, automotive electronics, digital photography, gaming and entertainment technology, wireless devices, and others.

Traditionally, a lot of attention at the CES 2013 is paid to mobile electronics. One of the trends of events can be hybrid mobile devices with larger screens 5-5.5 inches diagonal, for which the market is already coined the term phablet (English - phone, tablet - tablet).

The CES exhibition is held in the U.S. since 1967 by the industrial organization Consumer Electronics Association.
