Information technology and Russian regions: Scientific and Practical conference “Info-communication technology in the regional development” in Smolensk

February 7-8, 2013 in Smolensk is held the sixth annual interregional scientific and practical conference “Info-communication technology in the regional development”.

Conferences, held in previous years, have shown that a great interest of representatives of federal and regional authorities, local governments, business, civil society, educational and cultural institutions, and mass media to the problems of modern information technology in management, economics and social sphere.

The format of the conference covers plenary sessions, sections and round tables.

2013 is the year of the 1150th anniversary of the city of Smolensk. As part of the conference are planned events, dedicated to this event, including presentation of Smolensk online tour on the basis of a three-dimensional model of the city.

As part of the conference there also will be the summation and the presentation of the prize of the annual regional competition “Information technology in the education”.
