In the halls of the National Museum of the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic in Nalchik opens the exhibition “From the history of the National Museum of the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic”.

A special pride of the museum is the ethnographic collection, which includes items of so-called chivalry culture. Among the exhibits are chain armor or as they are called “Kabardian billfish” – light and impenetrable armor weapon, the fame of which went through the whole land. Up to now a part of them is stored in the collection of the Shah of Persia. The Cherkassy blades are considered to be the pride of the Kremlin Armory.

The exposition also includes modern works by masters of decorative-applied arts.
