Libraries and education: The All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference “The University Library: from strategy development to IT-solutions” in Yekaterinburg

October 14-17, 2013 in Yekaterinburg on the basis of the Zonal Research Library of the Ural Federal University of the First President of Russia B. N. Yeltsin is held the IX All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference on the theme “The University Library: from strategy development to IT-solutions”.

The purpose of the conference: to achieve the current level of the development of the ICT for improvement of information-library service for education and research in the institutions of Russia.

The directions of the conference are:

1. The automation of key business-processes of the library.

2. The library of the university information strategy.

3. Strategic partnership of the University library.

As part of the conference it will be held the round table on the results of conferences, the zonal council of University libraries, the exhibition of information products, various trainings.
