Peoples of the World: Culture of peoples of Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, Buryatia presented at the exhibition in Torzhok

December 26, 2013 on the eve of the New Year the National Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Torzhok opens the exhibition “Dragon and phoenix”, provided by the State Museum of Oriental Art (Moscow). 

The exhibition is located in six rooms of the museum. Here will be presented cultures of Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, Buryatia. For a month the museum in Torzhok will turn to the imperial palace.

Among the exhibits of the exhibition is the front embroidered clothing, porcelain, wood and metalwork, woodcarving and painting on silk, enamel and cast, chased and engraved, ivory and tufted carpets.
