Information technology and libraries: Formation of the All-Russian Network Research Library

The National Digital Resource "RUKONT", resident of the IT-technology cluster Skolkovo, participated in the creation of regional digital resource based on the A. S. Pushkin Transbaikal Regional Universal Scientific Library as part of the State contract of the Ministry of Culture.

As part of this work, was carried out the digitization of rare books from the Fund subsequent loading works on DNC "RUKONT". The number of downloaded content - 339 electronic full-text documents, which included the publication "Nerchinskaya star", "Rural nov", "The Word of Transbaikalia", "Shilkinskaya truth", as well as 179 rare books from the library collection of the period 1900 -1940s.

This project was a pilot site for the creation of similar digital resources in other regions of Russia to further integrate them into the All-Russian Network Research Library.
