The exhibition of unique exhibits under of a special federal museum program dedicated to the Year of Culture was presented in the Altai region.

All the exhibits belong to collections of the Altai State Museum. One of the most striking of them was the "Siberian Coin". These coins were minted Suzun Mint (the Novosibirsk region) from 1766 to 1781 years. They are distinguished by the fact that the image on the obverse had Siberian emblem and were smaller than normal - they were made of valuable Siberian copper particles with a high content of gold and silver. "The uniqueness of our numismatic collection is that each coin has stamps for stamping, they are also kept in the collections", - said the director of the Regional Museum Olga Padalkina.

In addition, you can see the unique historical and technical collection of the museum's founder Peter Frolov, who started to collect it at the beginning of the XIX century. Among the exhibits, he owned - the first Russian model steam engine, which was created in 1763 by Russian inventor Ivan Polzunov, living in the city of Barnaul, the old layout of the mine and the Hungarian Zmeinogorsk steam engine. All these items have federal status.

Most part of the exhibitions belongs to exhibits telling the story about Kolyvano Resurrection plants. These are manuscripts, maps and drawings of mines and mineral deposits, started at the beginning of the XIX century, including bowl Korgon porphyry which stonecutters of the Kolyvansky plant slaughtered almost 200 years ago to Barnaul mountain pharmacy.
