Russian museums: Exhibitions of works by Zinaida Serebryakova from museum collections of Vologda, Rybinsk, Yaroslavl

The Yaroslavl Art Museum offers viewers the exhibition of Zinaida Serebryakova, timed to coincide with the 130th anniversary of the artist from the collections of three museums – the Vologda art gallery, the Rybinsk Historical and Architectural Museum, the Yaroslavl Art Museum.

The exhibition presents more than 40 paintings, drawings by the artist since the early 1900s, before her departure to France. Most of the works are shown in Yaroslavl for the first time - it is her "Self-Portrait with his daughters" (1921) from the Rybinsk Museum, graphic portraits of her family - children, mother, husband, friends, preparatory materials for painting works, including paintings by major artists "Bath House", "Harvest" and "Bleaching Cloth" from the Vologda art gallery.

Viewers are indifferent to five works from the collection of the Yaroslavl Art Museum. These are gorgeous landscapes, where the artist conveys the unprecedented beauty of nature, "Girl with a Doll" (1921) and "Still Life with Attributes of the Arts" (1922).
