Museums of Russia: Exhibition from the collection of the F. A. Kovalenko Art Museum dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the State Hermitage Museum in Krasnodar

In the F. A. Kovalenko Krasnodar Art Museum opened the stock exhibition dedicated to the 250th anniversary of Russia's largest museum - the State Hermitage Museum.

The main part of the collection of Western European art of the F. A. Kovalenko Museum has developed as a result of the transfer of art treasures from the collections of the central Russian museums, including the Hermitage, in 20-30s of the XX century.

The masterpieces received from the Hermitage are presented by French, Italian, Dutch art schools and provide the most comprehensive visual trace of the development of Western art from the XVI century to the early XIX century.

The exhibition includes 8 graphic and 5 painted works.
