Information technology and society: Government approved new version of the state program “Information society”

Government of Russia has approved a new version of the state program "Information Society (2011-2020)". Appropriate Judgment April 15, 2014 №313 is published at the website of the Government of Russia. The purpose of the state program is to improve the quality of life through the use of information and telecommunication technologies. To achieve this goal is planned to solve the problem to ensure the provision of services to individuals and organizations with the use of modern information and communication technologies, the development of technical and technological basis of the information society, and to prevent the threats emerging in the information society.

The state program is developed by the Ministry of Communications of Russia.
