Russian Memory: Dedicated to the 69th Anniversary of the Koenigsberg Fortress' Siege Military-Historical Reconstruction in Kaliningrad

The military-historical reconstruction, dedicated to the 69th anniversary of a siege of the Koenigsberg Fortress, comes true in "Fifth Fort" Branch of Kaliningrad Regional History and Art Museum on April 6, 2014. On this memorable day, the viewers will see a fight performed by all the rules of military art. Strategically important "King Friedrich Wilhelm III” Fifth Fort had sown its utmost fierce resistance among all similar fortifications that were a part of Koenigsberg defense system.

In addition, the visitors will be able to observe the fort facilities, to see the exhibition "The Fortification Monuments" (the territory’s of the former East Prussia fortification history), "The Siege of Koenigsberg" (rare wartime photos), "’The Falcons of General Khryukin in the sky of East Prussia"(the photographs capturing the 1st Air Army service), "East Prussia. Spring '45" (the works of front-line photojournalist Povilas Karpavichyus courteously from the Lithuanian Central State Archive), "Brest Fortress. By the Roads of Memory" (from the "Brest Fortress" Memorial complex).
