Information technology and Russian regions: The project on the drawing on cultural monuments of the cities of Russia of QR-codes continues

In cities of Russia is implementing the project "Mobile Guide" - it involves the installation of plates with QR-codes near important cultural heritage sites.

Thus, this year in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is planned the equipment of information signs with QR-codes of cultural heritage objects in the framework of the regional target program "Development of domestic tourism in the Kamchatka region for 2013-2015".  

Also in July, took place the presentation of the project "Mobile Guide", which allows to get acquainted with the monuments of culture and history with the help of free mobile applications, in Voronezh.

Currently, the detailed information has been prepared for 8 Voronezh attractions, at which are installed signs with QR-codes, recognizable by a special mobile application through the phone's camera and showing the web page, which includes descriptions of cultural heritage. You can also use another exploring of cultural objects: it is necessary to call the toll free number and listen to the audio guide either in Russian or English.

By the end of the year another 7 cultural heritage monuments in Voronezh will receive individual QR-code, and in the next two years it is planned to place more than a few tens of identification labels with codes.
