Internet and History: "365 Appointments with Orthodoxy" Interactive Arcade on the Chuvash Republic National Library’s website

Within the framework of the "Year with St. Sergius of Radonezh" project on a website of National Library of the Chuvash Republic opened "The 365 Appointments with the Orthodoxy" interactive arcade.

Launching a spiritual and educational resource that offers to the public and parochial libraries of Chuvashia an easy access to oriented on Orthodox spiritual values information is one of the key objectives of the project. The site sections with a chronicle of project realization, electronic exhibitions, training materials and much more are constantly enriches with newer materials.

The organizers wanted to give to layout of interactive site an intuitive interface, friendly to a user with any level of computer literacy. So, all the materials are grouped in a few main sections: "Year with St. Sergius of Radonezh" contains all the information about the project; "The Sanctuaries of the Chuvash Earth" compiles the digital exhibitions and the presentations of public and parochial libraries about the Chuvash lands’ holy places; edifying, spiritually good reading is available at the "Library’s Reading Room"; "Orthodoxy in the Web" brings together a selection of interesting online materials.
