International cooperation: Russia has signed an agreement on cultural cooperation with Armenia and Kyrgyzstan

Ministers of Culture of Russia and Armenia Vladimir Medinsky and Asmik Pogosyan signed a plan of cooperation between the ministries of two countries for 2015.

As part of the cooperation in Moscow were held Days of Armenian cinema, and in Yerevan will be held tours of the Vakhtangov Theatre of Nations. In spring 2015 will be planned the opening of “Electronic Russian Museum” and the Institute of Ancient manuscripts “Matenadaran” of the name of the Saint Mesrop Mashtots.

There was also singed a program of cooperation between the Ministries of Culture of Russia and Kyrgyzstan for 2015-2017. As part of the program it is planned an exchange of art and photo exhibitions, as well as tours of theaters and musical groups. Participating countries will exchange days of culture between the states.  

An agreement to prepare a plan of cooperation was achieved on the 29 council meeting of cultural cooperation of participating states of CIS in October 2014 in Sochi.
