Libraries and society: Webcast of the conference “New approaches in library in the light of the concept “Fundamentals of the state cultural policy in Russia”

March 12, 2015 the Russian Association of Electronic Libraries is holding the webcast of the conference “New approaches in library in the light of the concept “Fundamentals of the state cultural policy in the Russian Federation”. 

At the event will be discussed the burning topics of the modern library community:

• the basic principles of the modern national cultural policy of the Russian Federation providing the spiritual and moral development and education of the individual citizen of Russia;

• the role of libraries in the development of book culture, the preservation of books in terms of digital technology;

• the library as the center of intercultural communications.
