To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The exhibition “Art of Winners” in Moscow

The exhibition to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory "Art of Winners" is held at the National Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art (Moscow) from 24 April to 28 June 2015.

The aim of the project is to express by the language of art the importance and scale of the victory. Art opens wide opportunities for imaginative and emotional experience. Timeframe is no such thing as "the art of winning" covers the period from 1945 to mid-1950s, the exhibition includes materials of the following decades, as the theme of war is not forgotten in the popular mind.

The exhibition reveals the theme of the Great Victory over artistic works of arts and crafts that form the human environment, the closest to it. Unique items from the collection of the State Russian Museum of decorative arts: sculpture Kasli art casting, works by artists of Gus Crystal and Leningrad factory of art glass, objects carpet of Turkmenistan and Dagestan masters Mstera products, and Fedoskino Kholui.

Of particular interest are products of Vologda lace dedicated to the Great Victory, postwar works of the masters of the Dmitrov porcelain and faience factories in Konakovsky.
