History and culture: The exhibition dedicated to Princess Olga, in Saint-Petersburg

The Museum of the History of Religion (St. Petersburg) until November 1, 2015 hosts the exhibition "Saint Olga - the first Christian ruler of Rus’" dedicated to Princess Olga, the first ruler of Russia to adopt Christianity.

Visitors will learn about the history of the life of the Great Russian saint. The exhibition features exhibits of the museum - the Order of St. Olga, books, arts and crafts, etc. as well as photos of countryside in Vybuty on the Great River, where Olga was born and raised, and the festival annually held in Pskov Kremlin, in her memory; Image of the Cathedral of St. Sophia in Constantinople, where Olga was baptized, and the Cathedral of St. Sophia Novgorod, Kiev and temples erected in honor of St. Olga.
