Museums of Russia: Renovated main house and visit-center of the estate “Lenin Hills” opened in the Moscow region

November 7, 2015 in the Leninsky district of the Moscow region after an extensive restoration was inaugurated the main manor house "Lenin Hills" and the visitor center of the Museum-Reserve - the "Houses on the Birch alley". 

The main house of the museum-reserve "Lenin Hills" was built at the beginning of the XIX century and was included in the program of "Red Tourism". It houses the main museum and exhibition space, which presents authentic exhibits. In an area of ​​230 hectares there are four basic objects of the museum-reserve: manor Gorki (federal cultural object), the exhibition "The Cabinet and the apartment of Lenin in the Kremlin", a museum of peasant life, scientific and cultural center of the "Museum of V. I. Lenin". The museum-reserve offers exhibits and meets with collections dedicated to the events of the political history of Russia in the early XX century, the collection of furniture and decorative and applied art of the late XIX - early XX century, the archaeological collections of the period of the II millennium BC - XVIII century, exhibitions of historical and cultural events of the XX century.

In addition, the museum-reserve has an extensive concert and festival activities, receives a large number of visitors to cultural tourism programs and programs for families.
