History of Russia: The multimedia exhibition “Heroes of the Fatherland. St. George’s history of Russia” in Moscow

December 9, 2015 on the Day of the Heroes of the Fatherland, the Museum "Streletsky Chamber" of the Russian Military-Historical Society (Moscow) offers a multimedia exhibition "Heroes of the Fatherland. St. George's history of Russia".

"Heroes of the Fatherland" - the first exhibition entirely dedicated to the history of the Order of the Holy Martyr George the Victorious, and the Miracle Worker. The exhibition used all the possibilities of new technologies, in particular augmented reality. Many artifacts are shown in 3D-format. This is - the unique exhibits, documents, premium sheets describing feats, medals, photographs.

The exposition consists of eight thematic rooms. The basis of the exhibition was the archival materials and rare items from private collections. The partners of the project are the largest museums in Russia, including the Moscow Kremlin Museums, the State Hermitage Museum, the State Historical Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, providedthemed digital images.

The exhibition "Heroes of the Fatherland. St. George's history of Russia" is a modern look at the events from different eras, combining multimedia with authentic artifacts that have been preserved in private collections.
