Memory of Russia: Festival of medieval reconstruction “Onega. Legends of the North” in Petrozavodsk

27-28 August 2016 in Petrozavodsk will be held sports and patriotic festival of medieval reconstruction "Onega. Legends of the North", which will involve about 100 early medieval re-enactors from all over Russia and 50 athletes-fencers.

Club of historical reconstruction "SKYOL", which for 10 years is successfully engaged in the reconstruction of the life and military craft Slavs, Scandinavians and Karels, will break on the lake a historic camp where participants of the reconstruction will live during all days of the festival.

Within the event will take place an only in Karelia sword tournament, there will be held master classes on shooting, will run fair of goods made by hand according to ancient techniques.
