Russian regions: The exhibition “Tula. Street crafts” is opened to the 870th city celebration

The Demidovs Historical and Memorial Museum (Tula branch of the museum association) from September 9, 2016 presents the exhibition "Tula. Street crafts" dedicated to the celebration of the Day of 870th anniversary of Tula.

An integral part of any provincial city, including Tula, were commercial street traders. Their colorful image, pointing to a certain kind of offered goods and enticing cries always attracted the attention of the townspeople.

The exhibition will feature unusual reproduction prints of representatives of street crafts "Kiselschik", "Prianishnikov", "Kvassnik", "Seller of Easter eggs", "Greengrocer", "Tamarisk", "Butcher" and others.

The exhibition will run until October 13, 2016.
