Russian language abroad: The International Conference "Preservation, support and promotion of Russian culture and language abroad" in Minsk

The International Conference "Preservation, support and promotion of Russian culture and language abroad" is held in Minsk on 9-13 November 2016, the aim of the forum is to develop cultural and information exchange aimed at creating a positive image of Russia abroad.

The participants of the conference were more than two hundred teachers, including philologists who teach Russian language and literature in schools and universities. The librarians, writers, representatives of the media and critics are also invited. They are half a dozen of different countries.

The forum will be held in sections: "Russian language: the theory and practice of learning and teaching", "Preservation, dissemination and development of the Russian language and culture among young people. The role of youth non-governmental organizations", "The Cultural Space of the Russian world. The creative potential of Russian compatriots".
