For the Year of Ecology-2017: The official emblem of the Year of Ecology in the Russian Federation approved

The Special representative of the President of the Russian Federation on environmental protection activities, the environment and transport, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Year of Ecology in Russia Sergey Ivanov approved the single brand for the relevant federal and regional events.

The emblem of the Year of Ecology was developed for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation.

According to the Head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Sergey Donskoy, 2017 declared the Year of Ecology and at the same time the Year of protected areas, so the emblem represents the wealth of unique objects of nature and efforts to protect the environment on the territory of Russia.
