Russian culture abroad: Visit Russia office opened in Madrid

In Spain, in Madrid, was opened Visit Russia office. Welcoming ceremony was timed to the beginning of the "cross" Year of Russia and Spain.

According to the head of the new office Madeline Rodriguez, in order to develop all the opportunities in the tourism sector, it is necessary to do a lot. She stressed that the potential of the two countries is huge. One of the key areas of work should be the regional tourism. It is essential that guests from abroad were not limited only to the capital, but they could see the sights of other cities, where there are also a lot of interesting.

At the opening ceremony was presented the new federal route "Russian manor". It combines the reserve museums in Central Russia under a single cultural brand. It is based on the principle "from the monument to the monument" in different regions, it covers about forty museum-reserves and almost twenty museums, mansions. Coordinator of the project is the Tula region. The region has survived more than three hundred ancient manors.
