Exhibitions: Photographs of the outstanding scientist of XX century Yulii Khariton presented at the exhibition in St. Petersburg

March 10, 2017 in honor of one of the largest domestic nuclear physicists of the XX century in the Exhibition Hall of the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University was opened an exposition of photographs "In the lens of Yu. B", which sheds light on the life and extraordinary personality of Yulii Borisovich Khariton.

In addition to documents from the archives of the Polytechnic University, the exhibition presents more than 60 portrait, landscape and genre photographs from the archive of the Nuclear Weapons Museum and the Yu. B. Khariton Museum Apartment in Sarov - from photographs of the "Cambridge" period of his internship in England (1926-1928) to the late photographs of the late 1980s. In the photographs one can see the faces of people close to Yu. B. Khariton, including famous representatives of the world of science, such as J. Chadwick, P. L. Kapitsa, N. N. Semenov, I. E. Tamm, and many others.
