Information Technologies and Libraries: The first street electronic library in Cherkessk

A special electronic terminal with Internet access to over 300 book editions in Russian and national languages was installed in the center of the capital of Karachaevo-Cherkessia, Cherkessk.

"The electronic library is a hexagonal anti-vandal design with a height of more than two meters, with special illumination at night. There are about 300 works in the database of the library, including classical Russian and foreign literature", - Olesya Mkhtse, head of the mass media department of the Cherkessk city administration.
